Actress and director Jasmine Trinca accompanies Fiamma Satta on a walk through Rome’s Testaccio district and surrounding areas, where she lives and where her family has always lived. At the Non-Catholic Cemetery, she recounts her early days in Nanni Moretti’s “The Son’s Room” and Marco Tullio Giordana’s “The Best of Youth,” as well as her first film as a director, “Marcel!” At the Testaccio Market, she meets her grandmother Rosa, and at the Aventine Hill, where Ferzan Ozpetek shot his latest film, “Diamonds,” in which Trinca co-stars, and at Caracalla, where she recalls the importance that Elsa Morante’s novel “La storia” has always had for her, to the point of playing the main character Ida Ramundo in the series of the same name.
