Friends of the Non-Catholic Cemetery
For those who love this special place
please support the non-catholic cemetery
This beautiful cemetery of great historical importance is entirely self-supporting – it receives no regular public funding. Its main income comes from the concession of plots for the few burials that take place nowadays, and from the annual maintenance payments made by concession holders. It also depends on the efforts of many volunteers and a handful of donors.
In 2009 the noted American filmmaker Ira Meistrich made a documentary entitled So Sweet a Place in support of the Cemetery.
